Writing together
How do you put a song together? You might have some amazing ideas, but feel that your concept is lacking just that bit of "spice." Or you might have listened to your own songs so many times that you're just not sure anymore about whether they are actually good or not. When you write together you can create something "just that little bit more special." Musicians have the power to give each other new insights and ideas; to spark and ignite fresh creativity. Together you can create a stunning piece of music. In order to do this you need to learn to respect and really "hear" each other and to see whose ideas fit where. Learning to play and listen without necessarily putting yourself on the foreground, with space for each other. We will also discuss song writing credits, since this is a discussion many people that write together forget to think about, even though this is an important part of showing respect and acknowledgement of each others contributions.
